Episode 2: Singer-Songwriters at The Sh*tty Barn
Next door to American Players Theater and Taliesin, the village of Spring Green, WI boasts a thriving artistic community and is home to this episode's featured music venue, The Sh/tty Barn. The Sh/tty Barn's reputation for hosting an incredible live music experience has grown to the point that residents of nearby towns mark the date and time that tickets go on sale in an effort to buy one before they sell out. This episode features powerful performances by John Moreland and Ken Pomeroy.
Episode 3: Classical Masterpieces at The Overture Center Concert Organ
The Overture Center glitters in downtown Madison, WI, hosting orchestra, musical theater, opera, and many other fine art performances. Deep in the heart of this gem lies the Overture Concert Organ, a 174 ton behemoth commissioned by the Madison Symphony Orchestra and built into the main performance hall. Greg Zelek, Principal Organist of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, delivers masterful performances, and is joined by Mark Hetzler, Professor of Trombone at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
